Axelrod Denies Barack Obama Met With Rod Blagojevich
The Obama press office just sent out the following statement, via email:
STATEMENT FROM SENIOR ADVISER DAVID AXELRODI was mistaken when I told an interviewer last month that the President-elect has spoken directly to Governor Blagojevich about the Senate vacancy. They did not then or at any time discuss the subject.
That should put the entire matter to rest. What? No?
Then a few lines down with the next tease I see this…
Bush Doesn’t Think Bible Is Literally True.
President George W. Bush said his belief that God created the world is not incompatible with scientific proof of evolution.
In an interview with ABC’s “Nightline” on Monday, the president also said he probably is not a literalist when reading the Bible although an individual can learn a great deal from it, including the New Testament teaching that God sent his only son.
Gosh this is comforting, and telling. You can bet that the Obama Media is freaking over the idea of Fitzgerald chomping at the bit over an Obama connection to Bla-goof-ojevich.
It’s pronounced “Blah-GOOF-uh-vitch.” You’ve been saying it wrong all day.
Makes me think about our days with Bill and Hill and White Water.
Obama made his bones in the Chicago political machine. If you don’t know anything about Chicago politics, know this… Obama somewhere along the line had to make a deal, compromise a belief, lay down with the dogs… and its looking more and more that Rezko is going to be his ‘Achilles’ in all this.
If you are not familiar with Mr. Rezko, think of him like this… the political reference would be on the same level of the Whitewater investigation that the Clinton’s had to endure but with a twist, Rezko is to Chicago politics and Obama, as Vince Foster was to Whitewater and the Clinton’s.
What I’m suggesting is that Rezko like Foster knows/knew where the bodies are/were buried and the twist is… with Bla-goof-ojevich on the hook, I don’t think that Rezko is going to find it to hard to really start singing now. Plus, I don’t think Rezko will be showing up in a national park dead any time soon.
Again I say… The only difference with Obama is his color, nothing more.
