I don’t know about you, but I sure am tired of hearing about the ‘first’ black this and the ‘first’ black that. Hey… If no one has noticed then grab this clue. A person’s race DOES NOT MATTER any longer. A BLACK has made it to the big show, big dance, top dog, big cheese… We can stop all the slothfulness of categorizing political firsts by race.
Unless… Of course you’re trying to push an agenda that would normally be knocked out of the box based solely on experience alone… Thanks Media Bias!
It would be like me saying, G.W. Bush, the last WHITE president. Nuff said?
It’s so nice to see that Washington will be business a usual.
Will Clinton pardon of tax fugitive haunt Holder?

WASHINGTON (AP) — The first black man elected U.S. president is poised to name Washington lawyer Eric Holder as the nation’s first black attorney general — a historic appointment but one with some potential political problems over a 2001 pardon.
Holder, 57, met President-elect Barack Obama only four years ago, but the affable Bronx-born son of a Barbados immigrant quickly won a seat in the Democrat’s inner circle. If he becomes the next chief U.S. law enforcement officer, Holder will try to win back the public’s confidence in the Justice Department — an agency whose fiercely independent image was tarnished by GOP political meddling during the Bush administration.
“Internally, there is a morale problem the likes of which I have never seen before,'’ Holder said in an interview late last year. “Externally, there is a crisis of confidence that the nation has with regard to the department.'’
Holder’s nomination is expected to be formally announced as soon as this week. He did not return messages seeking comment Tuesday, even though an Obama official and two Democrats in touch with his transition team confirmed that he is the top choice for attorney general.
Holder helped lead the team that selected Sen. Joe Biden as Obama’s running mate. Throughout his career as a judge, a prosecutor and a defense attorney for the prestigious law firm Covington & Burling, Holder’s independence rarely has been questioned. But one of his final acts as President Bill Clinton’s deputy attorney general in 2001 could come back to haunt him as he seeks Senate confirmation for the Justice Department’s top job.
On the last day of Clinton’s term, Holder told the White House he was “neutral, leaning toward favorable'’ for a presidential pardon for Marc Rich, a wealthy commodities dealer who had spent years running from tax charges. Rich’s ex-wife, Denise, was a prominent Democratic Party donor.
It turned out to be a bad call. The pardon provoked howls of protests and a congressional investigation over whether it was politically motivated. Holder later publicly apologized for what he called a snap decision and said he would have advised against it had he paid more attention to the case.
Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which will vote on Holder’s nomination, said the pardon “would be a factor to consider.'’
“I wouldn’t want to articulate it among the top items but it’s worthwhile to look at,'’ he told reporters Tuesday, adding that it is “too soon for me to say'’ whether Holder would be a satisfactory attorney general.
Added Sen. Jeff Sessions, a conservative Republican from Alabama: “I like him and I would hope that nothing comes up that would jeopardize his nomination if he were nominated. But he’ll have to answer questions and his record will speak for itself.'’

Can’t voted against Holder. that would be racism squared. Holder and Obama.

Oh, so now a person’s race doesn’t matter huh? So when you said
“Should he actually win the election tomorrow, there will be no courtesy extended from this blogger by calling him “Mr. President”.
Rather, he will be called only what he truly deserves: H.N.I.C.”
it must just have been the heat of the moment?
Response… That was someone else that posts here, not me duffus! Plus, nigger is a pejorative reserved for the black population, but… nonetheless, I could be a nigger for all you know.

I see. It’s alright if someone else uses the word. But the right almost lost their mind when they thought there was a tape out there that had Michelle Obama saying “Whitey”. Nice double standard.
Response… Look I don’t care what words you want to use to describe someone… I do not use the term nigger to describe most people I meet… but when one acts in a certain manner I have been known to use nigger, redneck, whitey, white trash, uppity nigger, spic, wet back, shine… but only after a behavior or action leads me to this. You for example, I would call a wantabe, you wantabe glass houser… where the stones you throw are just marshmallows. Always looking for those trigger words that you can point out and say hey… look at me, I am above this (them). Ok, I get it. If someone wants to use the language to express their thoughts, cool… I think we have to look no further then fakes like Jessie (hahahhah) Jackson and Al Sharpton to actually see how people race bait…. and that is what we are talkin about here, is it not? No double standard here… Obama will be the H.N.I.C., I’m just sorry I did not think of it first. Plus, now that I think about it. Was it not a Black that first used this terminology?

I wrote the post that you are referring to and I make no apology for doing so.
Who are you to tell anyone what is and isn’t appropriate to say? The morality police?
I thought radical left-wingers (such as yourself, I’m assuming) didn’t believe in “right-wing nut” moral standards?
Isn’t it your Liberal mission to destroy all traces of religion (other than Islam, of course) from society and eradicate its “offensive” moral standards?
Isn’t your hatred for “right-wingers” (such as Sarah Palin) primarily based on their objection to whacking a nine month old unborn child? (Isn’t Roe v. Wade 95% of the reason why people vote Democratic in the first place?)
Quite simply, Obama is a disgrace. He has spent his life surrounded by some of the most repugnant human garbage ever to stain this nation: Racists, terrorists, Communists, black separatists, anti-Semitics.
Absolute trash. He deserves — and will receive — not one ounce of respect from this blogger.
By the way, no one was actually offended by the term “whitey” — we do not suffer from a low self-esteem — most of us simply wanted the tape to exist so the world could see Michelle’s true colors.
JAY, THIS IS A RESOPNCE…IT GOT SPAMMED OUT…”I thought radical left-wingers (such as yourself, I’m assuming) didn’t believe in “right-wing nut” moral standards? ”
Careful, you know what they say about assuming….
“Isn’t it your Liberal mission to destroy all traces of religion (other than Islam, of course) from society and eradicate its “offensive” moral standards?”
I was raised as a Baptist, thank you very much. And no, I have no “mission” as you put it, “to destroy all traces of religion (other than Islam, of course)”. Unlike a lot of so-called Christians out there I prefer to follow the teachings of Jesus. You know, Love, Understanding, Compassion? Not Hate & Intolerance.
“Isn’t your hatred for “right-wingers” (such as Sarah Palin) primarily based on their objection to whacking a nine month old unborn child? (Isn’t Roe v. Wade 95% of the reason why people vote Democratic in the first place?)”
I don’t hate Sarah Palin, contrary to what you’d like to believe. Do I think she was a good choice for VP? No, not at all. But that has more to do with her inexperience than anything else. As for abortion, I support the right for the woman to choose, in certain circumstances. If there’s a medical issue that threatens the mother, or in cases of rape or incest, then yes, if a woman wants to she should be able to have an abortion, provided it is within a certain time frame. However if a woman wants an abortion because she was careless & doesn’t want to take responsibility for her actions, then no, that is not a valid reason.
“By the way, no one was actually offended by the term “whitey” — we do not suffer from a low self-esteem — most of us simply wanted the tape to exist so the world could see Michelle’s true colors.”
Yeah, kinda like you all wanted that tape that API supposedly had of Michelle going off about all sorts of things. You wanted that tape because it fit with your slanted view of the Obamas. That’s alright though. You keep feeding that hate that you harbor. If that’s what you need to keep you going then do what you have to do. I’m sure Jesus would be proud…..
