Suspicious timing or Telling Actions?

ABC News’ Sunlen Miller Reports: After spending about two hours with his ill grandmother in her apartment this morning, Sen. Barack Obama , D-Ill., took a short walk alone in the Makiki neighborhood of Honolulu outside his grandmother, Madelyn Dunham’s, apartment.

The Press Association Reports: After the rally, Mr Obama flew to Hawaii to see his grandmother, 85-year-old Madelyn Payne Dunham, who helped raise him. Ms Dunham was recently released from the hospital and was said to be gravely ill after breaking a hip.

Leaving the campaign trail less than two weeks before the election was politically risky. His lead is hardly insurmountable and poll numbers have shifted sharply throughout the race.

He missed his mother’s death in 1995, a mistake he said he did not intend to repeat with his grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, who has been a stalwart force in his life.

His first visit to Dunham, whose 86th birthday is Sunday, lasted about 70 minutes Thursday evening. He returned Friday to her 10th-floor apartment in Honolulu, where he lived between the ages of 10 and 18.

SEN. OBAMA: Yeah. I mean, without going through the details too much — she’s gravely ill. We weren’t sure, and I’m still not sure whether she makes it to Election Day. And so — now, we’re all praying and we hope she does.

But I — one of the things I wanted to make sure of is that I had a chance to sit down with her and talk to her. She’s still alert and she’s still got all her faculties, and I want to make sure that — that I don’t miss that opportunity right now.

A Blogishpere Conspiracy or is there something more to the story?

Madelyn Dunham, the maternal grandmother of presidential hopeful and Kenyan born, Barack H. Obama, would have to be in the dark about the real reason for the trip to see to her and is going to be the next person thrown under the Obama Speeding Bus of Disaster. I believe Obama will assert that his grandmother suffers from some form of dementia brought on by the recent turn in her health, thus deeming her memory as unreliable.. Plain and simple it was a convenient ruse. With all suspicion surrounding the birth place of Barack, he (Barak) must have been told that it may be best to destroy any original documents concerning his birth. Barack probably never thought that and of the lawsuits would see the light of day.
